Effectively the last year of Proof Trade Dollar issue for the public. The 84 and 85 are incredibly rare. Mintage 10 on the 84 and 5 on the 85. As a kid collector reading the red book I marveled at those as the lowest mintages in the book. I remember showing them to my mother and was surprised when she just said that’s very nice Harold now go clean you room up. Many of the rare gold coins with mintages in the hundreds also gave me a dopamine rush. I didn’t bother showing them to her. A very nice brilliant proof with a decent cameo on both sides. Someone moved the line on cameos. But this one is very close to the new line. It may be worth another submission.
